Marvel’s Spider-Man and its tie-in spin-off Miles Morales are two of the most fun superhero games of the last ten years or so. As a PlayStation exclusive, we were shocked to learn that Sony has plans to release it on PC this August.
Sony and PlayStation studios have been working hard to deliver a handful of games to PC which includes the likes of Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, and most recently, God of War (2018). We never would have expected they would bring the Spider-Man titles to PC as well considering this is what we would consider to be a flagship title for PlayStation consoles. Turns out, after selling more than 33 million copies as of May 15th, there could still be some sales to be had on a different platform.
I personally own Marvel’s Spider-Man on both PS4 and PS5, the latter of which being a part of the Miles Morales edition in the form of the Remaster. Both games were an incredibly good time and PC players won’t have to wait long to experience it for themselves when the titles swing over to PC later this year.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is set to launch on PC on August 12th while Miles Morales will follow soon after in the fall of this year. They didn’t confirm whether the games were going to Steam or the EGS but considering all the other PS Studios titles are on Steam, it’s a safe bet that’s where you will find them.
