It was not all sunshine and rainbows.

[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n a recent interview with Fandango, Kurt Russell opened up about his time working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and his future with Marvel. Below is Russell’s feelings on his future with Marvel.

“What you’d have to do is put your mind to it. You have to sit down and say, these are my issues, these are my questions. I’m an audience too. We all run into our own integrity no matter what, as much as I hate to admit it. I need to find a way that this is going to grow and be fun and most of all for me it needs to be fun to find as we go along. Right now I got part of it, we have to see. I don’t know. I don’t know if I fit into that mold.”

While this may not have been the most glowing interview, Russell was much more positive about talking about his working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where he plays Star-Lord’s father. He said that he had a great experience working with James Gunn and the rest of the cast. He continued to heap praise on Gunn who he said “really knows what he is doing” and is “really sharp”.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on May 5, 2017.
