Maybe The Batman isn’t doom after all?
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n what could possibly be a confirmation of landing the role of Penguin in actor Josh Gad tweeted an image from the Batman comics of Penguin with no caption to go with it. Rumors have quickly begun to fly around the internet for just which possible film Josh Gad might star in.
There are currently three DC Extended Universe projects in development right now, which means there are three possible options (excluding an unknown animated film) that Josh Gad could star in. There is the most obvious film, The Batman starring Ben Affleck, but there is also Gotham City Sirens and Joss Whedon’s Batgirl too. However, since both Gotham City Sirens and Batgirl seem to be the kind of films where the cast is all-female it is unlikely that Josh Gad would appear in them as the Penguin. Whatever the case, Josh Gad will most certainly make an excellent Penguin should he land the role in whichever film.
