Iman Vellani to Star as Kamala Khan in Disney+’s Ms. Marvel, will be Released late 2021

One of Marvel's newest characters is coming to Disney+ in her own live action series.

Captain Marvel isn’t the only, well, Marvel in the MCU anymore. Or at least she won’t be for much longer. Marvel Studios is releasing a new original series centered around comic book fan-favorite Kamala Khan, a 16-year old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. Both an avid gamer and a brilliant student, Kamala loves superheroes, especially Captain Marvel.

But Kamala also struggles to fit in at home and at school, until one day she ends up with the same superpowers as Captain Marvel. From zero to hero, Kamala’s life changes in one night.

You can watch a short sneak peek of the show below.

Vellani is joined by Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha who will star alongside her in Ms. Marvel. Episodes will be directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Ms. Marvel arrives on Disney+ sometime during the late fall of 2021.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
