House of Ashes Trailer Collector’s Edition Revealed, New Trailer Shown at Gamescom

The third installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology takes players to the horrors of the Iraq desert...

Part of The Dark Pictures Anthology, House Of Ashes is the third entry among eight planned survival horror videos games where players head into the Iraq desert after a military operation goes horribly wrong.

Discover what lurks among the shadows of the underworld when a supernatural force is released and you are left with choices that are constantly challenging you in the face of death. Take a look at the intense trailer shown at Gamescom earlier today:

A military unit searching for chemical weapons unearth something far deadlier. In the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple deep beneath the Arabian desert, something evil is awakened. Savage and unstoppable, a nest of ancient and unearthly creatures has found a new prey to hunt…

The Collector’s Edition leaves much to be desired. Thanks for spoiling the monster for us, Bandai-Namco.

Horrific discoveries and impossible decisions face the Unit as they strive to navigate a subterranean labyrinth and escape the terrifying threat. Will they each prioritize their own survival, or put aside their fears and their personal rivalries to fight together as one?

The Anthology debuted with Man of Medan in 2019 and then Little Hope the following year

House of Ashes arrives October 22, 2021, for PS4 and PS5, XBO and Series X/S, and on PC via Steam.
