Halo 5: Guardians Forge mode will be available on Windows 10 later this year!
[dropcap size=small]O[/dropcap]n Thursday, Microsoft announced that Halo 5 will be coming with a free Forge mod download on PC. Players will not only be able to create and play levels on their PC, but also share their creations on Xbox One.
Keyboard, 4K resolution and mouse support are included in the PC version of the Forge map. All of these will be available to players for free.
According to 343 Industries, Halo 5’s Forge mode is the biggest feature in the game for players. So when the Halo 5: Guardians Edition for Windows 10 comes out, PC gamers will also be able to enjoy Halo and not just Xbox One players.
Microsoft has made a good portion of their games playable on Windows 10, so it makes sense that they would put their top game up on Windows 10. Another popular game in this franchise that will be heading to Windows 10 and Xbox One is Halo Wars 2. In February, Microsoft also announced that Quantum Break will also be available on Windows 10.
Making games available on Windows 10 will make plenty of money for Microsoft, considering they are making their content available to more gamers than just Xbox users. If this goes well, Windows 10 might be hearing from more than just Microsoft.
