The highly anticipated slimmer Xbox One S is coming to stores near you.

After a mild E3 press conference by Microsoft, users were left with a “future” release date of a new slimmer Xbox One console named, Xbox One S. Although the release of the Project Scorpio console will not be released until this upcoming holiday season, the Xbox One S will actually be released next month on August 2nd.

The Xbox One S will sport most of the same features as the current Xbox One on the market, but at a 40% slimmer design. Some other new features the new console will possess are integrated power supply, an IR blaster, and 4K and HRD video support. Support for Play Anywhere console games will not be coming out until September.

Unfortunately, as of now, Microsoft will only be releasing the 2TB model in August that comes at the hefty price of $399. The bragged about price of $299 is for the 500GB model (a $350 1 TB model will be released as well), but these models will not come until an unspecified later time.

You can pre-order your Xbox One S now at Best Buy, Amazon, Microsoft, and Gamestop now.
