Epic Games introduced the v28.01 patch, which not only included files for the new LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Festival modes but also decrypted information about upcoming skins in the game. Following the patch release, data miners have promptly leaked TMNT skins featuring Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael, April O’Neil, along with their LEGO mini-figurine counterparts.
Hints of a collaboration with the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) series were previously leaked during the seasonal update. Players have now had their first glimpse of the skins, having already discovered numerous easter eggs scattered throughout the in-game map.
In addition to the TMNT revelations, further details about LEGO skins and a new collaboration with Dragon Ball, introducing Cell and Frieza to the game, have emerged. These, coupled with various quality-of-life updates, strongly suggest that Chapter 5 Season 1 is poised to be an exceptionally exciting experience.
Rumors suggest that the skins will be available sometime around December 22nd based on datamining but we do not have confirmation on any of that just yet. We assume they will be available sooner rather than later, however.
