You could say this is a chilling rumor.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Flash tends to run into (pun intended) a lot of super villains in the comics and because of this Warner Bros. and DC have a lot of cool (pun intended again) super villains to choose from. That being said, rumors have begun to circulate on the internet that the Flash’s biggest rival Captain Cold and his sister the Golden Glider could be in The Flash solo filming starring Ezra Miller.
The rumor comes from Jeff Sneider of Mashable after he tweeted that he was, “Seeing rumors about the Rogues in THE FLASH. FWIW, last week I heard villains are Rogues members Golden Glider and her bro Captain Cold.” This rumor could be true, after all, what better super villains could the Flash go up against in his very first solo film?
Then again, this is just a rumor at this point and should be taken with a grain of salt. With the film expected to begin filming in London in 2017, DC and Warner Bros. have plenty of time to choose which supervillain should appear in The Flash solo film and Captain Cold might just not be the one they want Barry to fight just yet.
The Flash runs into theaters March 16th, 2018.
