The Man Without Fear is back with some familiar and fresh faces this season.
[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]etflix released the long awaited trailer for season 2 of their hit series Daredevil Thursday and oh boy does it look good.
Marvel and Netflix also released a season synopsis along with the trailer.
“Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.”
The second season of Daredevil is part of Marvel’s eventual Defenders tie-in series so it will be interesting to see how this season will play into the superhero team up due to the new foes Daredevil must face.
Charlie Cox reprises his role as the titular character, while Jon Bernthal and Élodie Yung are introduced as Frank Castle and Elektra Natchios. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Rosario Dawson also return from the first season, along with the introduction of Stephen Rider.
Safe to say March 18th can’t come quick enough.
