Colin Farrell No Longer a Muggle, Joins ‘Fantastic Beasts’

Colin Farrell will join the wizard-world community as one of the actors in the Harry Potter spin-off film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Colin Farrell has officially joined the ranks of the wizards and left the boring life of a muggle. It has been confirmed that Farrell will be join the cast of Warner Bros. upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The movie is based on the book that reveals events that took place about 70 years prior to Harry Potter reading about them in school. The movie is set to star Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, and Alison Sudol as well.

Farrell will play the role of a wizard named Graves, who the main character, Newt Scamander, will meet in New York. The overall plot of the book is based on Newt exploring the underground wizard-world community as he researches a variety of magical creatures. The original book was written by J.K. Rowling for us muggles, but actually made an appearance as a textbook in the actual Harry Potter story.

David Yates will return to direct the Harry Potter spin-off where Rowling has written the script. Previous producer David Heyman will return as well to produce with Rowling with the help of Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. The movie has a predicted release date of November 18, 2016.
