The star-studded cast may have just gotten better!

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]here is a rumor going around the net that Warner Bros. has hired Colin Farrell to appear in the upcoming Justice League film. The rumor doesn’t have very much substance but connecting dots always draws a bigger picture.

The rumor comes from a Russian Twitter user called “CutTheCrapTV”. His tweet claims that both Colin Farrell and Michiel Huisman are in talks to join the cast of this superhero adaptation.

Farrell has recently been cast in Yorgos Lanthimos’ follow-up to The Lobster and in J.K Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Both will be released in theaters by the end of this year. What’s interesting is the fact that Fantastic Beasts is a Warner Bros. production. You have to assume that Warner Bros. would take this opportunity to try and add him to the already impressive cast list.

It’s also important to remember that Farrell was rumored to play John Constantine in Justice League: Dark. Farrell is no stranger to comic book adaptations. He played Bullseye in the less-than-stellar Daredevil movie back in 2003.

Remember?

It’d be cool to see Justice League get another big star to join, its cast. It’d also be cool to see Farrell and Affleck reunite on the other side. Do you think Colin Farrell joining the ensemble is possible? Let us know in the comments below!
