Because I wasn’t already going to sit through all of the credits anyway.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe have had everyone waiting around during the credits for a brief glimpse into what might be in the next movie. While Marvel was not the first one to have post credit scenes they have definitely perfected the art of using post credit scenes to help set up future movies in the universe. At first the Marvel movies had one credit scene and then we all got greedy and now the movies have been having two post-credit scenes.
The Russo brothers, who are directing Captain America: Civil War and both of the Avengers: Infinity Wars, have decided to grace us with a third post-credit scene. These are the same directors who have said that they wanted to have over 70 marvel characters in Infinity Wars. So going above and beyond the normal is just fine with these guys. The post-credit scenes could help set up the new Black Panther movie, Thor: Ragnarok, or even the new Avengers. We will just have to wait and see what they put in at the end.
Captain America: Civil War releases in theaters May 6.
