[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]cummy lawyer Saul Goodman now has his own theme song. Bob Odenkirk’s memorable character from Breaking Bad is the subject of his own upcoming spinoff series, Better Call Saul.
To get fans even more excited than they already are for the show’s debut, a music video was released showcasing some short snippets of unseen clips and lyrics that may hint at some of the show’s plot points.
Co-showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould wrote the lyrics to the song, and had some additional help from the show’s composers, Dave Porter and Adam Dornblum. The song is masterfully performed by country artist Junior Brown.
The series will focus on Goodman’s law practice several years before the events of Breaking Bad. Familiar face Jonathan Banks, who played fan-favorite Mike Ehrmantraut on Breaking Bad, will also be returning for Better Call Saul.
Better Call Saul heads to AMC in February 2015.
