What If  Titans attacked the streets of New York of the Marvel Universe? You won’t have long to find out.

Japanese magazine “Brutus” has already debuted the ‘What If’ Marvel storyline (in Japanese, obviously), which features the female Titan attacking New York City, though she is not the only Titan to bring about devastation and destruction to the largest population of superheroes within the Marvel Universe.

Some of the more recognized Titans will appear, such as Armored and Smiles shown above.

.

The mini-series will be called “Attack on Avengers“, and will feature Marvel’s Avengers (including Spider-Man) and the Guardians of the Galaxy, yet there will likely be cameos across the board from other Marvel super groups. No confirmation if any AoT series regulars, such as Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman will appear in the what if comic storyline.

AoT creator, Hajime Isayama oversaw the crossover project, which released in Japan in the latter half of November 2014, though North America will be getting a clean translation this May.

Marvel first confirmed the news during a live event for their Secret Wars presentation with writer C.B Cebulski and artist Gerardo Sandoval partnering with Isayama’s original plot.

Attack on Avengers will be released on the same day as this years Free Comic Book Day, May 2nd.
