An Homage to ‘The Revenant’ on a Tight Budget

Watch out, Leo.

What do you do in the mountains when you and your friends discover a large stuffed bear in your cabin? Obviously you shoot reenactments of the bear attack scene from The Revenant.

At least that’s what my friends Dillon Hoover, Jack Fahrenthold, and myself did.

Wait, there’s more.

There’s no doubt that Leonardo DiCaprio was amazing in the film and Alejandro González Iñárritu is a phenomenal director, but for three guys with a camera, a stuffed bear, and 30 minutes, I think we did a pretty good job.

Be sure to watch The 88th Academy Awards Sunday, February 28 on ABC to see if Leonardo DiCaprio finally snags up a golden statue of his own. That is unless I get to it first.
