The Flash and Cyborg Alternate Costumes Revealed

Cyborg’s and the Flash’s alternate costumes definitely don’t look similar to anything from the comics.

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]s with any superhero movie there are numerous decisions to be made when it comes to what kind of suit the superhero should be wearing and what it looks like. Christian Bale’s suit in The Dark Knight trilogy was superb and definitely fit the character well. As for Ben Affleck’s suit that he wore in his fight against Superman, well, let’s just say that someone should have thrown any comic from DC featuring Batman at Zack Snyder’s face in hopes that the director could at least right that wrong.

With Justice League soon to be in theaters, many fans understandably hope that their favorite superhero would have an appropriate suit that fits the character well. Luckily, it looks like both the Flash and Cyborg have great suits. However, it appears that both superheroes nearly wore a suit that seemed far too futuristic for not only the characters themselves but the roles they are supposed to play in Justice League and their own solo film (at least with the Flash).

In the photo above you can see that both the Flash and Cyborg’s suits seem to belong in a video game like Halo and not in a film like Justice League. The Flash’s suit was allegedly going to appear in the Knightmare scene when the Flash appears to Bruce Wayne shouting Martha but luckily Barry Allen dodged a bullet on that one (pun intended). As for Cyborg’s suit, you can definitely tell that this suit would completely cover his entire figure and it looks strikingly different from his appearance in the Justice League trailer.

Of course it is always possible that Zack Snyder could demand the costume department to break out these alternate costumes and ruin another film that could have been great but wasn’t. Let’s just hope that the director continues to ruin other aspects of the film and at least keeps the Flash and Cyborg’s image from being tarnished.

Justice League hits theaters November 17th, 2017.
