According to the website Fandomwire, Captain America’s longtime soulmate is due to make an appearance in the seventh and final season of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Whether it’s for a few minutes, one episode, or throughout the season, we don’t know. But what we do know is we’re thrilled to see Hayley Atwell return to the role of Peggy Carter once more.
So how exactly is Cap’s number one girl going to appear in the final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? Well, it’s a bit complicated and if you haven’t seen the sixth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stop reading right now.

During the sixth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Coulson and his team are time traveling back to the 1930s before the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. However, it is believed Coulson and his team will bounce around during the time period because if it’s the 1930s Peggy Carter is either close to 10-years old or she’s nearly 18. This means that Hayley Atwell, who is a very talented actress, couldn’t possibly pass off as a preteen Peggy Carter so the S.H.I.E.L.D team must land in a time either just before or during Peggy’s work with S.H.I.E.L.D.
Either way, no one knows what the plot of the season is and how it plays out. All we know is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actress Ming Na Wen uploaded to her Instagram a photo showing off several personalized bikes gifted to the cast for the show’s final season. In the photo, you can see a bike with a name tag on it which reads Enver Gjokah which is the actor who played Peggy Carter’s love interest in the final season of Agent Carter. So if Peggy’s brief love interest is in the final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Carter must be in the final season as well, right?
