[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter Tony Stark’s “Clean Slate Protocol” in Iron Man 3, the genius/billionaire/playboy/philanthropist is in going to be sporting new armor in the highly anticipated The Avengers: Age of Ultron. The first in-depth look at Iron Man’s Mark XLIII armor comes courtesy of extraordinary toy creators Hot Toys, as they have released a series of up close photos of their premium Iron Man figure.

The Mark XLII armor featured in Iron Man 3 was predominantly gold with red trim, and its successor looks to have replicated the same design but flipped the color scheme. Hot Toys gives more details on the figure:

“The movie-accurate Mark XLIII Collectible Figure is highly detailed and specially crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Mark XLIII in Avengers: Age of Ultron, featuring a newly painted Tony Stark helmeted head sculpt, metallic red, gold and silver armor with weathered effects, LED light-up functions, and a specially designed diorama base with a damaged Ultron Mark I. A special edition will be available for selected markets which includes a LED lighted battle damaged helmet as bonus accessory.”
