A Special “OSHI NO KO” Press Conference to Take Place at Anime NYC 2023

A special afternoon with the staff of "Oshi No Ko" will take place at this year's Anime NYC.

A special afternoon press conference with Japanese guests Director Daisuke Hiramaki, Assistant Director Ciao Nekotomi, and KADOKAWA Producer Shimpei Yamashita, the team behind the smash-hit supernatural drama series that became the #1 series launch of all time for HIDIVE, will be held on Saturday, November 18 at Anime NYC 2023 prior to the HIDIVE Presents Oshi no Ko Season 2 Interview panel taking place later that day.

Oshi no Ko is based on the award-winning seinen manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scrum’s Wish). The series is produced by studio Doga Kobo and directed by Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) and Chao Nekotomi (Love is Like a Cocktail) with writing by Jin Tanaka (The Misfit of Demon King Academy), character design by Kanna Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) and music by Takuro Iga.

Official Synopsis
When pregnant young starlet Ai Hoshino appears at Dr. Gorou Amemiya’s clinic, he takes it upon himself to safely (and secretly) deliver her child so Ai can make a scandal-free return to the stage. But on the eve of her delivery, Gorou is slain at the hands of Ai’s deluded stalker — and is subsequently reborn as Ai’s child, Aquamarine Hoshino! The glitz and glamor of showbiz hide the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry. Can he help his new mother rise to the top of the charts?
