Earlier today, Sega America debuted a teaser trailer for Sonic Prime, an upcoming Netflix exclusive and original series that is set to release later this year. The trailer, which shows Sonic in a sparring match with Shadow, shows a fast-paced animation style that will surely delight fans.

The synopsis is as follows: “The fate of a strange new multiverse rests in the gloved hands of the speedy, blue Sonic the Hedgehog.”
The cast includes Shannon Chan-Kent, Ashleigh Ball, Brian Drummond, Vincent Tong, Kazumi Evans, Ian Hanlin, Adam Naruda, and Deven Christian Mack.
No release date was provided but we know that it is coming this winter holiday season.
