[dropcap size=small]P[/dropcap]okémon is easily one of our most favorite franchises in the world of gaming, but sometimes catching ’em all can weigh a little heavy on the boredom scale. For some this never happens, while others are looking for a way to spruce up their Pokélives. Well, Namco-Bandai may just have what you are looking for in POKKÉN TOURNAMENT.
POKKÉN TOURNAMENT cross-breeds the epic fighting engines of TEKKEN with the wonderful world of Pokémon. In PK, players will be able to choose from an available roster of Pocket Monsters and go head-to-head in a Tekken fighting-style arena. Take a look at the teaser bit below.
Lucario and Machamp face-off in a battle unlike anything Pokémon has ever offered before, and with a lot more than 4 moves to boot. The game is being developed by Namco-Bandai for a Japan only release for now with no word on a NA release as of yet. While it is unfortunate there are no confirmations on whether or not we will see the game here in the states, keep your fingers crossed that this changes.
Developed by Namco-Bandai, POKKÉN TOURNAMENT is set for a TBA release some time in 2015.
