Earlier today, EA confirmed that Dead Space is returning in the form of a gorgeous remake for PS5, XBSX|S, and PC. And while we only got a teaser trailer that is just over a minute long, we could not be more excited about this news as Dead Space is one of our most beloved franchises around here. Take a look at the first official teaser for the upcoming remake of Dead Space:

The news of a new Dead Space game isn’t something that caught us completely by surprise. We last reported on rumors that this was coming, only we did not know what form it would come in- as a remake or a reboot or a sequel.
One other interesting bit of info was that EA mentioned that the game will feature an “improved story, characters” to boot, which means things may change for Isaac and that this could be the signs of an impending reboot plan but we will see. Of course, this all depends on sales and the like but you can bet we will be picking this up. But we won’t pre-order. That would be insane. This is EA we are talking about. But even if this news has us taking a grain of salt or two with it, it definitely feels a lot sweeter to know we can once again return to the iconic Ishimura.
No confirmation yet on a release date.
