[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]s many of you most definitely know Bungie’s newest game Destiny has been garnering a lot of attention. With the release date slowly but surely creeping up on us, Bungie has released a truck load of details on the various items that will be in the game. The full gallery of weapons and armor along with their descriptions has been made available.
Looking at these screenshots you can see how Bungie is bringing their unique style of science fiction to the table all over again with Destiny. I personally always loved Bungie and their take on both the sci-fi AND fantasy genres. I’m a huge Halo fan, but also played the the Myth series to death as a youngling. Destiny is described as being “mythic science fiction” or rather, science fantasy, so it should be interesting to see how they will execute the combination of the two.
Unfortunately, since I am living in Japan, I was unable to participate in the alpha release of Destiny, but plan to play the game when it comes out in September. We have been following this game closely and will keep you posted!
