Christopher Nolan is one of those directors who will drive audiences to the theaters. His vision on film is so unique in that a single onomatopoeia is enough to make you BWOOOOOOONNNG.
His latest film, TENET is another one of those head-scratching flicks that just pique your interest in all the right ways. The trailer, which you can watch above, practically punches your curiosity in the face and leaves your brain demanding answers.
PREMISE
Two international spies are sent out to stop World War III from occurring at the hands of a mysterious threat, using the unique technology of time reversal.
From the looks of it, John David Washington and Robert Pattinson are two super-secret agents who have a unique ability to experience chains of events as they are seen going backward. While it is a little difficult to make heads or tails from the trailer, it seems as though Washington and Pattinson are altering the past to avoid a future catastrophe by altering the past by literally walking through it. Yeah, we are confused too.
Hopefully, we get some good answers to all our questions, and there are many, when the film hits theaters on July 17, 2020.
NOTE: What better way for Pattinson to learn how to be Batman than from Nolan himself? He has come a long way since Twilight and may end up surprising us all.
