Activision is back with their annual COD release!
On Tuesday, Activision revealed that they are releasing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 later this year. I don’t think anyone was surprised that this is happening, but head were turned when the numerals for the game were a little different than we anticipated.
No more information was released on the game other than a Community Reveal date and the release date of the game. So we’ll have to wait until May 17th to find out more specific information on the game from Call of Duty publisher Treyarch. There was a rumor spreading that the game would be extended out to the Nintendo Switch, but when Nintendo Direct aired, Call of Duty was not listed.
One thing about the release date is that it will be in October, as opposed to the traditional November release. So like Marvel fans got one less week to see Avengers: Infinity War, Call of Duty fans will get one month less for this release.
If you thought I wasn’t going to comment on the logo, you were sorely mistaken! The Roman Numeral in this logo is not the fourth numeral you are used to seeing. Perhaps they are trying tallies for their logo instead. Whatever sells right? Certainly would be an original idea!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on October 12 to all currently platforms!
