[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ith it’s latest update Pokemon Go added some new Pokemon from Gen 2. Two of those were Espeon and Umbreon, the psychic and dark type evolved forms of Eevee.
In Pokemon Go there are tricks to make Eevee evolve into a trainers preferred form. For Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon it was to nickname the Eevee “Sparky”, “Pyro”, or “Rainer”. Of course there is a similar trick to evolving Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon. To get Espeon you have to nickname the Eevee “Sakura” and for Umbreon you have to nickname the Eevee “Tamao”. This goes back to what the original evolution trainers name’s were in the anime series.
To evolve Eevee into any evolution you will need 25 Eevee candies first. The nickname trick will only work once for each evolution and after that it will be randomized.
