If you haven’t upgraded your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One hard drives now might be the time do so.
[dropcap size=small]J[/dropcap]ust last week details for the back of the box for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare were leaked online and aside from the usual details that come with any game one detail stuck out more than all the rest, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will need a grand total of 130 GB of free space in order to download Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered.
Luckily, Activision was quick to respond on its FAQ page about why both games will need such a striking amount of free space. According to Activision a large amount of space is required due to a “high-end estimate” of what both games will need when both games are installed. This huge estimate also includes that patches that will be released on day one and the Modern Warfare remastered maps that are to be released sometime in December.
If you haven’t upgraded your PS4 or Xbox One hard drives yet, or you don’t have 130 GB of free space, don’t freak out just yet. Remember that the 130 GB of free space that is required is an estimate and the game could take up less space than that. However, to be on the safe side of things it would be best to take precautionary steps to ensure that you have the space needed.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available on November 4th.
