Wet Hot American Hype!

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter giving fans a Wet Hot American Summer prequel series, Netflix has announced Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. The series will make good on the promise the campers had made to return to Camp Firewood in ten years to see what kind of people they’ve “blossomed” into.

Wet Hot American Summer debuted in theaters back in 2001. Despite it bombing at the box office, it quickly became a cult classic; prompting Netflix to write a prequel series.

The original film had an all-star cast which included the likes of;  Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Michael Showalter, Joe LoTruglio, Ken Marino, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper and Amy Poehler. Most of the cast reprised their roles for the prequel series: First Day of Camp; so it’s safe to assume most of the cast will do so again.

However, First Day of Camp also brought in some new faces and misadventures; Ten Years Later is sure to do the same.
