The Xbox One is currently in beta testing for backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games and Halo: Reach is one of the games being tested.
Were you an avid fan of the Halo franchise? Are you still weeping that Bungie split with Microsoft? I know I am… When Bungie and Microsoft split a part and Microsoft claimed the rights to the Halo franchise, Bungie produced one final Halo game, Halo: Reach. Halo: Reach was one of the most successful Halo games of its time making a whopping $200 million on its first day hitting the store shelves. With the Xbox One backwards compatibility currently in beta, it’s no surprise that Reach is a game people would like to play on their new consoles.
In a recent Twitter conversation, Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s Xbox division, teased a fan about the idea of Halo: Reach being compatible on the Xbox One.
@lincon6eqo I’d like to see it come via back compat.

Whether or not the game will see a resurrection on the backwards compatible system is still to be determined. The backwards compatible feature for the Xbox One is currently in beta testing and is expecting a release this upcoming November.
