In a recent AMA, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey spoke about her interests in Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and other video games.
Most people know Ronda Rousey for her notable knockouts in UFC. Her ruthless fighting style has gone viral spreading all over social media sites displaying her ability to beat the crap out of every fighter she faces. On Monday, August 10th, she conducted an AMA on Reddit, where she answered a number of questions regarding her “nerdy side”.
Rousey began the AMA by introducing herself. What the readers got wasn’t exactly expected…
“Ronda here. My favorite Pokémon is Mew and I used to moderate aPokémon forum. I’m an active player on WOW and a Mage named Randa on TaichiPanda – I’m on the 3rd Game Of Thrones book and will shank a b**** who tries to give s*** away about the series cause you watched the show already.
Oh, and I’m also the UFC Bantamweight Champion and undefeated in MMA. I’m here today to answer your questions with the help of my friends Bobby and Leo.”
Well she definitely gained like 100 more attractive points in my book with that introduction. However, she didn’t stop there on addressing Pokémon questions. A reader asked her what Pokémon she would like to fight in the octagon where she answered, “Throh – because he’s the Judo Pokémon and would challenge me the most :)”.
Following the Pokemon questions, Rousey went on to say that her favorite male fighter was Demetrious Johnson. Yep, that makes two of us who have no idea who that is. However, her reason behind choosing him? HIS FIGHTING STYLE REMINDS HER OF DRAGONBALL Z. There’s something we can relate on. Rousey also talked about her favorite Dragonball Z character, Vegeta. She had already addressed that in a previous interview, but when asked if she would rather train with Vegeta or Goku, she replied:
“Vegeta. For sure. Goku is such a f***ing goodygoody that he’d be fun to be friends with but I’d get annoyed hanging out with him after 2 weeks, let alone after a whole year. I’d imagine that Vegeta and I would have many an interesting debate. Probably not about politics but maybe like societal s***.”
