[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he January 21st Windows 10 event, The Next Chapter, will take place at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA and will be streamed live at 9 am Pacific Time. Microsoft hasn’t announced any specific plans for the event, but it’s possible there will be talk about the operating system’s rumored Cortana integration, new Xbox app, and hopefully Spartan, the new web browser.
What Xbox exec Phil Spencer has said is that Windows 10 is the “best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PC” but not to expect to see Microsoft leave Xbox out of the picture. Spencer goes on to say, “We remain committed to gaming on console, but we know that we have fans and gamers that also play on PC and phone. And it’s important that we build out the features that we have, learning from what we’ve done on console, and helping make Windows 10 the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs.” We will keep you updated with all the goings on during and after the event on January 21st.
