[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]andango recently released the results of their 1,000 fan poll for which films were the most highly anticipated for 2015. Most notably, Star Wars: Episode VII beat out Avengers: Age of Ultron for the top spot. Here’s the complete list along with links to their respective trailers, if available:
3. Mockingjay Part 2
Now, if you’re unhappy with the order of these films, or that something you’re particularly looking forward to is not on the list, fret not. Last year’s Most Anticipated Films according to Fandango did not reflect box office success in the slightest. Mockingjay Part 1 was the survey’s top pick for 2014, yet it was Guardians of the Galaxy—which didn’t even crack Fandango’s Top 5—that ended up leading the box office chart. Likewise, the Most Anticipated list included Divergent and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, neither of which ended up cracking the Top 8 among domestic ticket sales.
