Pre-production on Legion is beginning to amp up.
Rachel Keller is now the first actor to be cast in the upcoming X-Men TV series, Legion.
Keller has made appearances on The Mentalist and Supernatural, but she is best known for her role as Simone Gerhardt in the acclaimed second season of Fargo. Her role in Legion has yet to be announced.
Legion will be based off the comic series of the same name, and will most likely follow David Haller, the estranged son of Professor Xavier, who’s multiple personality disorder allows him to have multiple mutant powers.

The series, which will premiere on FX, was made possible through a deal between Marvel and Fox, which allows for television series based on X-Men properties. Originally, it was believed that Fox was able to make these series because the rights to Fantastic Four were returned to Marvel, but this has since been debunked.
