If these set photos are any indication Thor: Ragnarok is going to be one impressive film.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]hanks to the guys over at Comic Book Movie we have some new photos showing off a massive set that was created just for the upcoming Thor film. The set looks very similar to what we’ve seen in previous Thor films when the god of thunder returns to his home on Asgard. This time however, it seems that instead of Marvel using CGI to give us an idea of what the wonderous city of the demigods looks like they built a partial city. Take a look at what the set looks like below.
As you can see from the photos above and by using the cars seen in the background as a means of measurement this is one large set that was made for Thor: Ragnarok. As of right now, the movie is being filmed in Australia and we still have over a year until the film is released in theaters so more photos may be released before then. Judging from the characters involved in the movie, elements from the Thor: Ragnarok comic book storyline, as well as the Planet Hulk story line, will be incorporated into the film. As more and more films are released for Marvel’s Phase Three plan it seems like the films are just going to continue to become bigger and better films and hopefully Thor: Ragnarok holds up to the hype.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released in theaters on November 3rd, 2017.
