Hugh Jackman could be returning for one last X-Men film according to reports.

Thanks to a premature posting on Instagram from a hand-made leather goods designer based in Brooklyn, it seems highly likely that Hugh Jackman will be playing an important role in Fox’s upcoming film, X-Men: Apocalypse. Hopefully this leak won’t cause Hugh Jackman to back out of the role like Jason Statham did with the role of Bullseye in Netflix’s Daredevil.
The hand-made leather goods designer, known as Kika NY, made a post on Instagram that said, “We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching – The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted.” The post was deleted as soon as it was noticed immediately by the media, but that was enough time for fans of the metal-clawed, immortal mutant to freak out.
Of course Fox has yet to make an official statement to confirm this news so don’t get too ahead of yourselves. While we are still on the topic of rumors and possible actors starring in X-Men: Apocalypse, world re-known actor Sir Ian McKellen has confirmed that he won’t be starring in the film.
“I haven’t heard [the rumors],” Sir Ian McKellen commented in an interview with Digital Spy. “I don’t think I am, no, no. They’re currently making the film and I’m not in it.”
