Vanilla Ice, who claims to be part Choctaw, defends Adam Sandler’s Ridiculous Six after several Native Americans working on the film walked off set.

[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]ative American actors walked off the set of Adam Sandler’s Ridiculous Six, calling the film “totally disrespectful” due to Native American women being called things like “Beaver’s Breath” and “No Bra”. In addition to these remarks, the Native American actors were offended by one scene in which a Native American was squatting to urinate while smoking a peace pipe.

Ridiculous6

Vanilla Ice, who stars as Mark Twain in Ridiculous Six, claims to see both sides of the situation. “It’s comedy, I don’t think anybody had any ill feelings or intent or anything. This movie isn’t Dancing with Wolves, it’s comedy. They’re not there to showcase anything about anybody they’re just making a funny movie” he explained. The film is reportedly a spoof of the classic Western film known as The Magnificent Seven. At this time the movie will star Adam Sandler, Will Forte, Taylor Lautner, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo and Terry Crews. The movie is to be directed by Frank Coraci.
