Rainbow Six Siege is Getting an “Outbreak” Mode with Zombie Mutant Enemies

Next month, Rainbow Six’s third season kicks off with Operation Chimera, and along with that comes a unique “Outbreak” event that brings monsters to the battlefield.

The new Co-Op “Outbreak” event is scheduled to come with Operation Chimera and will be available for PC, PS4, and XBO beginning March 6 and ending on April 3. While we do not know much about Outbreak, based on the teaser above you could probably make a few accurate assumptions yourself.

You can’t quite tell just what the enemies are since they are cloaked and shrouded in shadow and fog, but they appear to be some sort of mutant zombie things that are overwhelming the special forces. The “biohazard” and “outbreak” themes being thrown around suggests that there is a disease that is spreading and infecting people, but we have to wait for more specifics to come.
