[dropcap size=small]R[/dropcap]emember the days when there were only 151 Pokémon, and the most you could evolve some of them was to their third form? Well, those simpler times are gone. There are, like, a billion different Pokémon now, and an even greater number of evolutionary forms for a lot of them.
Japan’s CoroCoro Magazine has revealed that two more O.G. (that’s “original gangster” for those of you not well versed in colloquial speech) Pokémon are getting new mega forms for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
Fan favorites Pidgeot and Beedrill are the latest generation-1 Pokémon to get the new powerful evolutions.
Mega Beedrill’s new ability is Adaptability, which gives its Stab moves added power, making its attacks much more devastating. Reportedly, Mega Beedrill will also get a boost in Attack Speed.
For Mega Pidgeot, the special attack is increased and the new ability is No Guard. This gives Mega Pidgeot’s attacks 100% accuracy, which is is incredibly useful. However, be warned that this also means your opponent’s attacks will have 100% accuracy on Mega Pidgeot.
