Earlier today, the official One-Punch Man anime website confirmed that, after three long years since season 2 wrapped up, the third season of One-Punch Man is finally on the way. The website, which is entirely in Japanese (OnePunchMan-anime.net), stated they are starting production and provided a teaser image drawn by Chikashi Kubota who oversaw the designs for the characters throughout the first two seasons.

The loose translation of the announcement can be read as follows:

This time, we will start production of the third season of the anime “One Punch Man”, which will be the long-awaited sequel to the series. At the same time, a new teaser visual drawn by Mr. Osamu Kubota, who was in charge of character design in the first and second seasons, was also released.

The latest information will be announced on the TV anime official website and official SNS from time to time, so please wait for further information on the details.

Drawn by Chikashi Kubota, the image sees Saitama and Garou standing at the ready.
