Coming exclusively to Paramount+ this April 27th, the six-episode series takes place between the Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 films and will have Idris Elba return to star as the titular character with Ben Schwarz and Colleen O’Shaughnessey reprising their roles as Sonic and Tails, respectively.

The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.
No word on whether Jim Carrey and James Marsden will return as their respective characters.
Knuckles comes to Paramount Plus exclusively this April 27th.
