According to reports Justice League has been “remade…twice.”
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n what can be described as Warner Bros. stepping into save Zack Snyder from himself, and by that we mean Warner Bros. doesn’t want to Justice League bomb at the box office like Batman v Superman did, it appears that the film has been almost entirely reshot. This doesn’t particularly mean bad news for the film, Star Wars: Rogue One was reshot and performed superbly at the box office, but considering Warner. Bros. previous history of stepping in to fix a DCEU film it doesn’t look good either.
The website Splash Report has cited an anonymous source who explained that Justice League has been basically remade more than once and Warner Bros. has put in a lot of time and money to change the film into something that can produce a whopping $1 billion or more at the box office.
Why? Because Batman v Superman only made the studio just over $100 million. Sure, that may seem like a lot of money but when that is compared to box office hits that Marvel has produced in recent years it honestly isn’t that impressive. Will the reshoots turn Justice League into something extraordinary? Maybe. But when you take a look at previous films which Warner Bros. has needed to reshoot and how they did at the box office it doesn’t look good either.
