There couldn’t be a better Cable.
[dropcap size=small]M[/dropcap]onday is widely seen as the worst day of the week but thankfully Ryan Reynold’s made this Monday a little better by giving us a first look at Josh Brolin’s Cable! The Canadian actor dropped two photos, the first being a close-up with a caption that says, “We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCable #MaximumAsshole” and the other shows off Josh Brolin in full costume. As many Deadpool and Cable fans will be pleased to see, Deadpool 2 is staying faithful to the comics by giving Josh Brolin’s Cable his iconic techno-organic arm and eye. David Leitch, who is directing Deadpool 2 and directed John Wick, said Josh Brolin “brings a humanity to Cable, but he also has the depth of acting chops to hang with the comedy when needed. He’s bringing that character to life in the short 12 days we’ve been shooting and I couldn’t be happier.” Production on Deadpool 2 is in full swing and with Ryan Reynolds as a producer for the film you can be sure that over the next months the actor will give us plenty of updates.
Deadpool 2 is slated to be released June 1, 2018.
