Last week, Erin Robinson Swink from Ivy Games announced on Playstation’s website blog that Gravity Ghost would be available on the Playstation 4.
[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]ack in January of this year, Gravity Ghost was released by Ivy Games for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The game received excellent reviews from Steam, Metacritic and GameSpot, attracting a strong following. Now it seems that Ivy Games wants to bring the physics based puzzle game to the Playstation 4. Gravity Ghost follows a character by the name of Iona. Iona is a ghost girl who flies through the space in search of her friend, a ghost fox. As Iona travels through space she meets many new friends and characters. Along the way, Iona meets strange, mysterious creatures known as the “Guardians”, a several stranded survivors of a black hole, and many restless spirits that came from animals. When Iona reunites the spirits of the dead animals with their bodies, she experiences flashbacks of her life when she was alive. Slowly Iona begins to understand how she died and she accepts her death.
The story behind Gravity Ghost seems to differ from most games. But with the game’s past track record and exclusive content that includes a new constellation with new challenge levels, a new playable character, and three new bonus tracks for the soundtrack; Ivy Games and Sony seem confident that the game will perform admirably.
Gravity Ghost will be released on Playstation 4, no release date has been given at this time.
