Compared to Goldar the Putty Patrollers don’t look that bad.

[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]o far the cosmetics and costumes for the upcoming Power Rangers film have been at the center of scrutiny for fans. With the Power Rangers’ suits looking as if CGI makes up ninety percent of the costume and Goldar looking like he has literally been dipped into a vat of molten gold it’s no wonder fans are skeptical of the film. Luckily, the Putty Patrollers action figures for the upcoming film have been released on the Toys R Us website and it looks like there just might be hope for the film.

Judging from the image of the Putty Patrollers action figure above, it looks like the Putty Patrollers could be made out of some sort of cement or concrete. In the original show, the Putty Patrollers were created from a machine that used clay. Since the majority of the content from the original show has been changed it isn’t too surprising that the Putty Patrollers look different. However, it is safe to say that this maybe one of the few changes that are for the better.

Power Rangers hits theaters March 24 of this year.
