It’s time to let them go.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t was recently reported that Expendables 4 will be the last film in the Expendables franchise. While the film is still in pre-production the word is that they are framing it to be the last one.
With an aging cast that is pretty much irreplaceable it would make sense that this would be the last film. While the franchise did try to set up a younger crew for a potential spin-off in the third film it seems that it is not going to happen.
There is currently no official cast list for the film along with no director. Sylvester Stallone wrote and directed the first film so he could return to directors chair for the last film but nothing is confirmed right now.
The Expendables 4 is currently scheduled to be released in 2018.
