Back in August of last year, we reported that a major crossover was happening in Multiverse of Madness featuring the leader of the X-Men, Professor Charles Xavier. And now, it seems that ahead of the film’s release, the trailer that debuted during the Super Bowl on Sunday confirms that it is finally happening- the X-Men are coming to the MCU.
At around 1m15s you can see Doctor Strange being escorted to what appears to be a hall surrounded by significant and powerful MCU heavy hitters in the form of a council, quite possibly the Illuminati, which features the voice of none other than Sir Pat Stew’s Prof. X himself. If you can’t recognize Sir Patrick Stewart’s voice by now, then that is on you. But clearly, the actor is sitting in a room in front of Strange suggesting to a council of sorts that they reveal some big news to the Sorceror Supreme.
The article that we covered this news on several months ago features some major spoilers and some leaks and it seems as though some of these, if not all the leaks, are coming to fruition. Go ahead and check out that article if you want but don’t come crying to us about spoiling it for you.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes exclusively to theaters this May.
