The solo X-Force film will likely become Deadpool 3.
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]ven though production for Deadpool 2 has been delayed due to Tim Miller leaving the director’s seat Fox has already set it’s eyes on Deadpool 3. According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources close to 20th Century Fox claim that the studio has quite a bit of faith in the Merc with a Mouth and thus is actively pursuing a filmmaker that will be in charge of the third film in the franchise.
With Fox already planning another Deadpool film that will introduce Cable and Domino, this means that the third film will more than likely center around the X-Force. Ryan Reynolds was quite vocal following the release of Deadpool that in order to continue the storyline Cable would need to be introduced along with the X-Force. When you combine both of these topics together you know that this will lead to an eventual integration of the X-Men universe itself.
With Bryan Singer no longer attached to the director’s seat for the next X-Men film, and star Hollywood actors Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult completing their three-film contract, it’s nice to know that Fox still intends to move forward with the X-Men franchise.
