[dropcap size=small]D[/dropcap]isney’s 5th Pirates of the Caribbean movie “Dead Men Tell No Tales“, is set to film on location in Queensland, Australia this February. Time will be split between Queensland and Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast.
The Australian government was thrilled with the decision, announcing that this deal marks the largest international film deal to head Down Under. Timing was perfect after the shelving of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea due to Director David Fincher dropping out of the project.
Principle photography for PotC: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to start in February, with a theatrical release set for 2017.
The film will yet again be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, this time directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, and no doubt starring the beautiful coasts and landscapes of Queensland.
The movies may get worse and worse as they go on, but I honestly can’t get enough of Depp as Captain Jack.
