Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudou Musume is an original slice of life anime centered on four female university students who travel Japan by train, and it is coming to HIDIVE this October as part of the Fall 2026 simulcast lineup.
The series is based on the Tetsudou Musume, or Railway Girls, franchise created by TOMYTEC, a property that has been a beloved fixture in Japan for two decades now, and Tetsuryo serves as a celebration of that 20th anniversary. It will stream exclusively on HIDIVE for subscribers across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, with an official English subtitled trailer already available on YouTube for anyone who wants an early look at what the season has in store.
The story follows Misaki, a college freshman who arrives on campus with a vague but genuine desire to escape the routine of her everyday life and find something worth being passionate about. She does not yet know what she wants to do with her future, but she knows she wants it to feel like something.
Shortly after starting school she stumbles into the Railway Travel Club, and suddenly the world opens up in a way it had not before. For viewers who occasionally need their anime to slow down, breathe, and just let people ride trains through the Japanese countryside while figuring out who they are, this one is going to hit exactly the right note.
HIDIVE will host the world premiere of the series at Anime NYC on August 21st, giving fans their first look at the full experience before the October debut.
